~Guest Book~
Nov 7th, 2009 by woodstone
Hello and welcome to Woodstone Prairie!
I’ve been blogging for almost five years, and during those years have had visitors from all over the world. It’s fun for me to imagine the different (sometimes exotic!) places people who visit my blog live… especially because my family is not able to travel. We are rarely more than 50 miles from home!
Just over the past few days this blog has had visitors from Australia, Ireland, Sardinia, Chile, Canada, and seven different states in the U.S.
Please take a minute and leave a comment here (even if you aren’t from somewhere exotic
, as a way of “signing” my guestbook… let me know where you’re from, and (if you’d like) how you found my blog.
Thanks so much, and enjoy your visit…
Maura

Another long-time reader, from Vermilion, Alberta (formerly from Saskatchewan), Canada
I enjoy your blog very much. We are a Navy family who moves frequently. We most recently moved from Hawaii to Jacksonville, FL. I found your blog when I was looking for information on a unit study for the solar system. I love your ideas. I have a 5 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. I have been homeschooling for 3 years now and LOVE IT! This will be my first unit study and I am looking forward to the flexibility. I know my son will just love this! I will continue to keep up with you. Have a blessed day!
It was good to catch up on some of your blogging ! I have to try out your secret to lighting a fire ! We have issues when the wood gets wet and I have been buying those expensive starter packets !! I did not know you can milk a donkey. Not sure why you would want to ?? Well, hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas ! Cheryl
Just humble old Nebraska, but enjoying your posts so I thought I’d say hi!
Visiting your blog from Las Vegas while looking for solar system unit study info. Thanks for sharing your families’ work with the rest of us.
Hello Maura! I have stopped by to catch up on things… lots of reading still left for me to do to yet… which I always enjoy on your site!!! The kitchen looks great! The kids have grown so much! Wow! Sending you well wishes and peace through the up coming events with M… Many hugs from the Fla./ Ga. border line.

Hi Maura! I’m praying for you all today. I hope M’s surgery went well and that he will have a quick and not-so-painful recovery.
Take care,
Kelly
I just wanted to let you know that I read today’s post and I hope everything continues to improve.
Hi! I saw your post today about the Lewis & Clark reading you’re doing and how it makes you want to reach for an atlas to see where they are. My aunt took a trip with another writer/photographer/pilot a few years ago where they flew over the whole Lewis & Clark route & took the most amazing photographs of what it’s like today. You can see some of it at their site http://www.chasinglewisandclark.com – I can only hope that MY future holds adventures like my aunt’s! It’s simply fascinating to me.
Hi. I came by recommendation of a blogging friend, Renee over at fefyfomanna. As a former homeschooler (both of mine are college grads now, one a newly wed, the other teaching after getting her master’s degree in piano performance), and a fellow homesteader, I am enjoying looking around your blog.
