My friend Christiana is no longer sick and hurting…
She passed away yesterday afternoon.

I’m so sorry, but I’m happy that she’s no longer hurting. That’s little comfort for those left behind though.
I wrote this poem for my Aunt after her sister (my Grandma) died. It’s not great, but it made her feel better.
For those who’ve gone,
Their troubles end.
For those who stay,
Their sorrow begins.
But, know that suffering and pain have gone away,
And joyous freedom is now in its place.
Remember that one glorious day
We will see Jesus face to face.
So, know that soon in a far off place-
We will receive both Love and Grace.
In your sorrow let joy abound,
One day those we’ve lost will be found.
I’m so sorry to hear that she passed. I’m glad that her pain is over though and will pray for the pain of her family & friends. Loads of hugs!
I am so sorry that your good friend Christiana has gone.
I can’t think of anything that can make things right, only time can do that. But I would have to think that although she is no long here to talk to, at least you knew her.
I’m sure you laughed and talked, I bet you learned from her and that she learned from you. From knowing what she meant to you I can imagine she was a amazing person.
